EG1   Pre-WWI Two Mark Silver Coin.   Kaiser Wilhelm II and  Kaiserina on one side and the German eagle on the other.  Minted in 1901 to commemorate 200 years since Friderich I was Kaiser of Germany.  Mounted as jewelry in a silver bezel that is not soldered to the coin.  Beautiful patina.  I have seen these on other sites for two and three times the price I ask.  $35    Pictures:    A        B     

EG2    Regimental Stein brought back by Bill Richardson (see EG4)  Civilian stein with some sage advise about keeping the wolf out of your home.  The white glass body of the stein has a nude Lithopane.  Perfect condition.  maker marked on the bottom with a Crown B.  Priced right at $50    Pictures:    A        B        C                      F

EG4    Enamel on silver Bracelet,  7.25 inches long, 13 insignia including the Nazi Flag, and an anchor with shield that has the letters:  H   A   P  A  C  .  The insignia appear to be signal flags and the bracelet belonged to a lady married/going with a Sailor for the Third Reich.  CONSIGNRH   $75       Pictures:    A        B

EG6   K-98 bayonet with etched blade.  41 ddl bayonet has been etched post war with Fallschirmjaeger motif:  On the pommel of the handle is a parachute suspending a large Swastika.  On the obverse side of the blade is a nice panel with "Fallschirmjaeger Regiment No 2"  On the reverse side is similar panel with : "Mit Unsern Fuhrer ist der Seig"  Nice deep etching but mottled background on the panels.  A red felt plug fills the slot for the bayonet stud.  The blue finish has been polished off when the etching was applied.  Nice display piece, but not wartime issue, it was etched in England during the 50's.   CONSIGNRM1    $800   Pictures:    A        B        C         D        E        F       

EG8    WWI Binoculars brought back by American soldier who took them from a German soldier.  I guess that it is a German war trophy.    8 X made in France, complete with leather neck strap.  Serial number 12635.  Parallax is good but the lenses are a little 'milky'   $65    Pictures:    A        B        C        D        E        F

EG13    Regimental Stein, reproduction from the Eighties. Triangle hallmark with B  M  F  in the middle.  White glass with Cavalry motif.  69th Cavalry Regiment.  Horse and rider on top of lid.    $90    Pictures:         B             

EG14    Regimental Stein, Officer's grade all in pewter.  The only officer's stein I have seen.  Engraved around the rim of the lid is the following inscription:  Offitz. Corp's S/I UL Rgt. EG19    Regimental Stein, Kgl. Sachs. 15. Inft. Rgt. Nr. 181 Chemnik, 2. Comp.  1900-02.  Named to Tambour Ernst Heinz.  White glass body with a lithopane of a soldier bidding adieu to a fair lady on the balcony.  no chips, cracks, nor damage to the stein, great colors and detail to the artwork.  CONSIGNEJ $575   Pictures:    A              C        D        E        F           

EG20    D. L. V. Pennant with rope/loop.  11.5" by 8.25"   This one has the acceptance stamp in black on the blue cloth.  Some moth holes, but this is a very rare flag indeed!   CONSIGNRM5    $750    Pictures:    A        B        C         

EG21    NSDAP Triangular Pennant.  14" by 7.5".  Reinforcing stitching on the end of the triangle, cord with snap runs through the white 'pole side' has a snap on one end and a knot on the other.  The most unusual thing about this pretty pennant is that the White ball and the black swastika have the appearance of leather.  I have had but one other if this type in 35 plus years.  A little red is on one side of the white ball and there is a small abrasion to the black on the other side.  Tough piece to find!  $170    Pictures:    A        B     CONSIGNRM7  PENDING

EG22    Sword Portepee, Leather strap with silver aluminum wire, red and silver acorn with red inset for fire police.  excellent.   $80    Pictures:    A       B    

EG23    SS Pennant, Early Reproduction.  14" by 7"   The embroidery work appears like Bevo Weave and the black and silver piping looks good, but it is Bogus.  Still a nice display piece and a great deal cheaper than the real thing.  CONSIGNRM6   $80  Pictures:    A        B        C        SOLD

EG24    Early SA Felt Armband.  3  5/8" wide, moth tracks and two holes.  No RZM tag.  Blood spot on white ball, soiling to white.  This has been sewn on the sleeve at one time.  Nice early piece.  CONSIGNRM8    $100   Pictures:    A        B        C    

EG25    Cast Iron Eagle and Swastika.  Just over two pounds in weight,  8.5" wide and 7" high.  At one time it was painted black, but that has come off over the years.  I have seen a couple of these with holes in the wings to screw onto some surface.  Good display piece for a collection.  CONSIGNRM9    $200   Pictures:     A        B

EJ6    WWII Meatball floatation flag, 31" X 38".  Silk, the outside corners are reinforced for strength while being flown, but the ties have been cut off by some mental giant...  there are a couple of small moth holes (see picture)  This is the type and color of red that was carried by a pilot to signal from the surface of the ocean.  Partitions for the flotation material are present on all four sides.   $190    Pictures:    A              C        D

EA13    Brass Spitfire Ashtray.  Shell Art cast from spend shell casings in Australia.  I traded this from a friend 'down under' years ago.  the prop is the two blade rather than the three blade English fighter.  Nice work and great patina.  Six inch wing span and five inches long, prop to tail.  $100    Pictures:    A        B        C               

EA14    WWI cigarette lighter.  All brass construction of a most unusual design.  The first one of these I have seen and it came with a WWI uniform.  Exc. $55.    Pictures:     A        B   

EA15   Military Whistle.  Made in the USA and marked Military.  Complete with the ring, chain and snap.  $15  Pictures:          B   

EA16   WWI Engineer's Compass.  C-E maker, dated 1918, Brass construction, very similar to the Lensatic compasses from Nam. EA17    WWI Canvas Bag.  Dated 1918 with button closure.  The 'D' rings remain but the straps will need to be replaced.  The price is right at $25.    Pictures:          B    

EA18    Enlisted Man's Belt Buckle,  Solid brass produced by:  U. S.  C. M. I.  NY   The original lacquer is still on the face of the buckle with minor scratches to the coating only.  Exc.   $10  Pictures:     A        B   

EA20      Pair of WWII Dog Tags.  The notch is the give-away on WWII dog tags, these are made out to Gilbert Halverson.  $20  Picture

EA23    Shell Art from WWII,  40 mm cases turned into a pair of brass vases 7" tall and 4" wide at the top.  The date on one is 5/45, the other has been peened on the bottom.  I assume that they were done aboard ship because of the caliber of the casings.  Pair for $60    Pictures:    A        B        C

EA25    Swallow-Tail Guide-on.  by the Valley Forge Flag co.  1982.   20" long, un-issued.  $40    Pictures:    A        B     

EA26    Very Early binoculars with case.  made/sold by: FELIX ULLMAN & CO.  MANILA, P.I.  The inside of the leather lid to the case has Manila, P.I. and the cloth strip, black with gold lettering: D. W. YANCEY.  This name is scratched under the sunshades on the barrel of the lenses.  The adjustment wheel  is Gutta Percha, a hard rubber that was a precursor to bakelite and plastic.  Both the eye piece rings are marked with the maker's name and the lens is quite large, but the lens at the end fills the entire barrel tube.  Leather wraps the body between the adjustment piece and the sunshades. I have had Civil War and Indian War binoculars that are identical to this.  The parallax is still quite good and the lens are clear.   $265    Pictures:    A        B        C        D        E        F        G        H        I        J    

EA27     Canteen, WWII US.  Canteen dated 1945, cup dated 1943.  Cover marked  NC-9 with a little wear to the outside folds by the snaps.  $25    Pictures:    A        B        C    PENDING

EA28    B-17 or B-24 Navigator's Compass, Type D-12.  Made by Bendix Aviation Company, 1942 contract.  6.5" across the face.  This was used for long flights that required more accuracy than the compass on the pilot's instrument panel.  Was also used in US Naval aircraft such as the PBY.  Fluid filled, no bubbles.  The ring on the top moves freely and has lock screws as well as adjustment.  The vet removed the three legs used for bolting the compass to the frame to insure accuracy.    $75    Pictures:    A        B        C        D

EA39    WWII USN Survival Knife, folder with saw blade and a large cutting blade.  Black plastic grips with steel bolsters.  Made by Colonial,  Providence R. EA40    WWII USMC album, named to Pvt. John D. O'Hara.  The album runs from induction Dec. 1943 to 1947.  John was assigned to the Bon Homme Richard  (CV-31) which was in Tokyo bay during the signing of the surrender.  A restricted book on the CV-31 is in the album as are news releases, pictures of the CV-31, and a "Plank Owners Certificate" with names and addresses on the back.  Over 20 pages, (40 sides) with pictures, postcards, USMC information, pictures, etc.  Nice set!  $75 CONSIGNRH  Pictures:           B        C                    F                     I        J        K        L        M

EA51     WWII Rifle Sight for Grenade launching.  made to fit several rifles.  Original dated canvas case (1944)  The instruction sheet is present and the sight and wheel are still in the waxed cloth protective cover.  I have two of these right from the vet's foot locker.  $30    Pictures:    A        B        C         D           

EA52    WWII Two Star General's flag,  sewn stars, reinforced white edging next to the pole.  Feels like wool but is probably cotton.  Owned by Brigadier General Thorstensen.  The grommet holes are hand sewn so that it will accommodate a rod for display.  no holes nor damage.  $125   Pictures:    A        B        C        D        

EA53    Sons In Service Flag,  WWII, Two stars, blue velvet boarder and lettering on red satin or silk.  The rod and stand are not there, but the gold tassel that suspended it are present.  11 3/4"  X   8  1/4"  A little wear to the white background by the letters 'E'.  Nice piece, $75    Pictures:    A        B

EA57    WWII Tunic, two pair of pants (light weight wool and the winter issue),  Visor cap and garrison cap, oilcloth cover for visor, garrison belt.  The tunic is size 40R and the pants are 36w 31L, Rafel Yates stood 6'2" at that time and was an engineer assigned to an airfield in England.  The 8th  and 9th AAC flew out of that base and wanted their own construction crew there to repair any damage from bombing or hard landings from their own bombers.  Ray wore the AAC collar disk on his jacket and the 9th AAC patch on the left shoulder.  The 9th patch, the winged star, one Tech sgt. rank, the Hershey bars, and the ruptured duck were taken off by his wife to make a display picture frame of his military exploits.  I got the 9th AAC patch, the winged star, and the Tech Sgt. chevrons that he had as extras and they stay with the uniform.  The garrison cap has the engineer piping. EA58    WWII USN Tunic and Bell bottomed trousers named to Keith Clove Workman.  He was a 2nd class Medic who was in the war from the first of 42 to the end in 1945.  There is a second  tunic with naval rating, but the right sleeve has moth holes so consider it a 'freebie'.  A picture of him goes with the uniform.  $80    Pictures:    A        B        C        D        E        F       G
