IG12    Order of the Black Eagle,  The star with the black eagle in the center on a ring of white enamel with the words Suum Cuique (To each his own) was an elite group that is traced back to the 1700's.  Usually this is the insignia of Police organizations: Feldjager: field hunter, field Ranger, Field Rifleman, was closely tied to the Gendarmerie.  The symbol is still used.  This star has holes in the eight points of the star for sewing on either the left shoulder or cap.  Unusual piece!  $60  Pictures:    A        B

IA3      WWII EIB: Expert Infantry Badge, solid silver back, no stamp indent from forming the rifle.  Excellent condition.  This badge has no wreath and was earned by Infantrymen in recognition of excellent Infantry skills.  Institution date is Oct. 1943.  This is one of the toughest physical and demanding mental challenges that a man can face, and very few men won them.  The CIB: Combat Infantry Badge was won by satisfactory performance of duty in action against the enemy, and performing the duties of an infantryman. IA93    Collection of WWII and 50's  CAP Insignia.  As complete a set as I have seen, it even has the quarter sized Winged Prop for the overseas cap.  The rank are gauze backed and correct.  The Cadet CAP ribbon and the Cadet Civil Air Patrol and the the Civil Air Patrol sew-on ribbons are bevo weave and hard to find.  19 pieces for $60!!   Pictures:  jpgs to be posted soon.

IM4    Tank Insignia, cloth and metal set.   The GI folded the two Abrams cloth patches over and sewed them on his uniform.  The threads are still present.  The metal tank insignia is marked M21.  These insignia were worn during the  late 50's up to the end of the Vietnam war.  CONSIGNRM   Set: $15    Pictures:    A        B

IM9     U.S. Army Recruiter,   patch worn on the breast pocket.  2 1/4" by 2 1/8".   Has been sewn on but is in excellent condition.  $4    Pictures:    A        B   

IM10    Fifth Sea Bees Brass Insignia "Can Do"  6.75" in diameter, has been attached with epoxy to something.  Fifth Reserve Naval Construction Regiment with the sub-units: RNMCB-2 and RNMCB-18, evidently took part in the construction of the Golden State Bridge and the Seattle Space Needle.  Excellent paint with no damage to the surface nor the edges.  Nice display for a Sea Bee collection.   $25   Picture
